The Decoding Conferences bring together people interested in Decoding the Disciplines. The series has been initiated 2023 by Miriam Barnat.

2023: Connecting and Expanding the Community
The first conference took place November 6-7, 2023 in Aachen, Germany and was hosted by Fachhochschule Aachen.[1] Presentations have been recorded and made available for participants.[2] Proceedings have been published in two volumes.[3][4]
2024: Adopting Decoding for the Next Generation
The second conference took place November 1-2, 2024 in Bloomington, Indiana and was hosted by Indiana University.[5]
2027: (Re)creating Connection & Community
This virtual conference will take place Thursday January 28th, 2027, 8am – 11am (US Pacific Standard Time). See Call for Papers.
